December 2021 Energy Forecast

Hello loves,

2021 is going out with quite a banger of a month. How is everyone feeling out there? The cosmic weather is volatile to put it lightly. That being said, there is much beauty, yet our eyes (and minds) need to be open to see and receive it. These times are full of amazing opportunities each week, day, hour, minute and second. If you’ve been following my writing you’ll be well aware of my loving nudges towards shadow work and grounding. The bumpy road is much better handled when we do this work, even...dare I say, enjoyable. Our nervous systems will most likely be tested this month, and it'll help greatly to have tools to help us relax. If we are able to stay calm, and detached from what's going happening on the world stage, we will fair all the better.

We enter into December with total solar eclipse/new moon in Sagittarius at 12 degrees on the 4th. It is both a beginning and an ending. It's a closing of an 18 month long lunar nodal cycle as well as a major opportunity for new beginnings. We’ve got this theme all month long of endings and starts. The opportunities are here for us. The energy is ultimately here to assist us but we must make the choice of sovereignty and actually follow through with it. Assuming the cosmos will take care of everything won’t work. While it's true that the Universe has our back, it also likes to see initiative...we can think of it as a collaboration. Spitting out some affirmations alone isn’t going to cut it either. If you’ve been doing the work this past year you may be coming to the conclusion that holy shit.:the work, really does work..:but we must begin and continue with consistency.

Cliche perhaps but it’s time to assess what we’ve got going on in our lives as we enter the final month of 2021. Start at your current state of being and go from there. In the first few weeks of December we are in Sagittarius season - there is hope, there is joy, new beginnings and expansion. It’s a beautiful energy to work with and a time to shine. There will be work involved though. It is beyond helpful to have a strong container to be able to handle expansion of Sagittarius season with ease and grace.

This month isn’t necessarily a time to initiate brand new things but rather expand upon what we’ve already been growing. As I am writing this we are in the shadow period of Venus retrograde which officially begins on 12.19. We can both bask in the glow of our hard work from this year as well as tie up any lose ends surrounding needed shifts in business and relationships. The first month of 2022 brings us into a short time of both Venus and Mercury retrograde. It’s definitely something to be mindful of but definitely not something to have anxiety or fear over. It’s a blessing in that it gives us more time to get very clear on how we want to move forward. On your marks get set, go-ish.

We enter Capricorn season on the 21st which will highlight the question of whether our shit is, in fact together. Cap is a feminine, fixed sign - it will benefit us greatly to work with this energy to help ground us and you know, get our shit together. It's also going to be beneficial in that Capricorn energy at times is not overly emotional. This will be QUITE helpful with all of the other energy going on during this time. The 21st also brings us to the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, it's time to go within, a time of incubation in order to assess the structure of our being, our roots and bones.

A few days later is the third and final square between Saturn and Uranus, yay-ish! Chances are you’ve been feeling and witnessing it play out on the world stage already. More on this below...

Let’s dive in to some key transits and aspects for the month ahead.

Neptune in Pisces stations direct on 12/01. With it brings the deepening of compassion and empathy towards ourself and others. We are better able to access more clarity and insight at this time, as if waking up from a slumber where things were clouded. Be mindful that it may be easy to float away during Neptune's journey through Pisces. May we find a means to be connected to Source yet grounded to Gaia.

At 2:43am (NY) we have a new moon total solar eclipse in Sagittarius at 12 degrees on the 4th. As said above this is a time of endings and new beginnings, simultaneously. This is the last eclipse in an 18 month cycle that won’t be seen again for awhile. It behooves us all to be super mindful of our thoughts and intentions at this time. What we think, believe and vocalize will expand - personally and collectively. The lunar nodes officially shift to Taurus/Scorpio on 01/22/22.

This moon just so happens to be forming a trine with Chiron in Aries rx, which puts an emphasis on healing our core wounds. Healing in the form of contemplation, integration and releasing that which does not serve us. It's an opportunity to get past stories that have been holding us back. Think core beliefs - especially surrounding our self worth and/or bodies. Release that ish and set some goals. The moon also forms a sextile with Saturn in Aquarius - signaling an opportunity to upgrade the structures that will hold us in place (in a good way) as we enter into a whole new Paradigm which is being birthed NOW.

Venus in Capricorn forms a sextile with Neptune on the 4th as well. This indicates that we may find realization in our spiritual endeavors. When we are clear and authentic, we offer our services truly from the heart, with the best of intentions, and we may be rewarded for that, especially at this time.

The very next day there is yet another sextile, this time between Mars (in Scorpio) and Pluto (in Capricorn). This feels super intense to me. The potential for major change, particularly within the world-stage and it's structures is impending.

Observe, not absorb.

From the 9th all the way to the 27th there’s a conjunction between Venus and Pluto in Capricorn. At this point, Venus is about to go retrograde and this energy is feels heavy, bring with it more potential for intense change. And it’s a relatively long time period. It’s not necessarily a bad thing - truly nothing in astrology is “bad”. I am feeling it’s both an inner revolution to how we associate with money, where, what and to whom we spend and give our money to. And on the grand scale, it brings with it the potential destruction of that which no longer serves the world. Pluto in Cap is the shifting of big corporations - it is way overdue to stop funding the overloads who seek total control and we will be shown this in a big way. Shop small, literally and figuratively.

The 9th also brings the forward motion of Chiron in Aries. Any self work done during the retrograde will be realized on a more external level at this time. Remember, the work does indeed, work - as long as we do it.

On the 13th we have not one but two planets shifting constellations. Mars enters Sagittarius at 4:53am and Mercury enters Capricorn 12:52pm. Mars in Sadge energy will assist with forward momentum. We won't just think about doing it, but actually create moves. We’ve got to be mindful on what we put out there with our thoughts, because that is literally what will expand, good or bad. Life is just like a mirror, exactly like it, actually. With Mercury in Capricorn we’ve got a grounded energy, our thoughts may become more pragmatic, and more centered which will be super helpful with the chaotic energies out there at this time as the energy towards the Saturn/Uranus square builds.

We have a full Moon in Gemini 27 degrees on 12/18 at 11:35pm. This will be an excellent opportunity to release any structures within our minds that do not suit us, especially as Mercury, ruling planet to Gemini, is in Capricorn. It’s not just that they don’t suit us, they may be seriously holding us back and we may not even realize it. We may just feel so stuck and not understand why. It’s all in our minds, literally - we can change at any moment. It’s simple, but not necessarily easy. It’s definitely worth it though. More on this in the daily updates.

Venus officially becomes retrograde in Capricorn 26 degrees on 12/19 at 5:36am. This is a time to be mindful of beginning brand new businesses as well as relationships. It’s more of a time to go inward regarding these issues although we may be very tempted to reignite a new love. We may feel we are returning to our one true love, a karmic flame, etc. It may feel really good, because it’s familiar, but there’s a reason things have ended in the first place, and there’s not necessarily a need to resurrect it back to life. We may be feeling way different about the situation towards the end of the 40 day retrograde. Rather, it will be beneficial to work through any thought patterning regarding our worth, in both financial wealth and love realms. A few hours later, 11:32am Chiron direct at 8 degrees Aries. This is a time of realizing the embodiment of any inner work we’ve done during Chiron’s long retrograde. If we ummm... haven’t done anything specifically, it’s all good. We still have a ways to go through the sign of Aries. Chiron is in the sign of the Self until 2023. Sun in Sadge also forms a sextile with Jupiter on the 19th. This energy feels so good! It’s an auspicious time, full of luck and light. Allow it to infuse your thoughts, body and soul!

The Sun ingresses into Capricorn on 12/21 at 10:59am. The general energy becomes more grounded, more structured, albeit perhaps less emotional as noted above. Many hearts are ablaze and perhaps a bit unstable given the current circumstances, for better or worse. It will benefit us greatly to continue to work with the Cap energy to help us to stay stable and make smart choices. We either realize that WE are the creators of our reality or not. We either step into our power and sovereignty or allow ourselves to be dragged around and controlled by an outer source. The choice is ours although the "powers that be" would have you believe otherwise.

Ceres (currently retrograde), the asteroid of motherly love, nurturing, self care as well as loss and return, enters Taurus at 5:52am. How to work this with energy? It’s an excellent time to reparent ourselves, and work with our inner child. This is when we can get down to why we may feel unstable, ungrounded and/or dealing with any financial woes and self worth issues.

The 21st also brings us to the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere! The longest period of darkness before the days oh so slowly begin to lengthen. This is a time to go within, a time to ruminate over the past year, preparing to fully discard that which no longer serve us. It’s a time of incubation, a tending to our inner world. What do you wish to see bloom in your garden come Summer solstice?

On December 24th at 2:16am, the third and final exact square between Saturn and Uranus takes place. We’ve been in this energy all year so it may feel kinda “normal” by now. The chaotic destruction of the systems we once believed could save us are crumbling. Old systems do not go quietly but remember...

Observe, not absorb.

On the 28th at 11:09 pm Jupiter enters into Pisces once again signaling a time of potential luck and prosperity. Idk about you but I will claim it!! Mars forms a sextile with Saturn as well, which offers opportunities that coincide with shifting of the structures mentioned above. Not necessarily in a destructive way (we've got enough of that energy already, amiright?) but one that will bring with it exciting innovations. What kind of world do you want to live in? Visualize this transformation with all of your heart and embodied love! We are such powerful creators, it's time to remember that.

And on the last day of the month, the Sun in Capricorn forms trine Uranus, which indicates more big shifts but... are we really surprised by that, by now?

That was a lot, huh? Yes, yes it was but...you/me/we...we got this. It’s like that saying, we haven’t come this far, to only come this far. It’s not that the whole lot of the month is a chaotic mess - it’s true that it may feel like that if we allow ourselves to get dragged around by the energy, but it doesn’t have to be that way. At the beginning of the month, we can use the energy of Sagittarius to expand, and as we near the 21st, we are then welcoming the stabilizing influence of Capricorn season, allow it to lovingly hold you.
